Our advice is to certainly consider restoring an older instrument provided it is one of the worlds recognised high-quality brands. The main reason for this is that pianos such as Steinway, Bechstein, Bluthner and Bӧsendorfer are considerably more valuable following our restoration programme than the actual cost of having the instrument rebuilt.

Many older pianos remain treasured ‘heirlooms’ of great sentimental worth, which is far beyond monetary value. Before the rebuilding process starts, we undertake a rigorous inspection of your instrument. This helps our craftsmen to outline the steps needed to return your piano to optimum condition.

We also take professional ‘before and after’ pictures of your priceless family heirloom, before work begins, and provide a complimentary loan piano, similar to your current model, for the duration of the restoration.
