To provide an accurate and fair valuation when we buy used pianos, we require some basic details like the piano make & model, serial number, reason to sell piano and most importantly, some photographs. These allow us to assess the condition of the piano, which is important when valuing it.

Do you buy used pianos?
Yes! We buy used pianos and find them new homes, often restoring them to their former glory.
How much is my piano worth?
To give you an accurate answer, we need you to submit details of your piano via our online form, including uploading or emailing photographs.
I live far away, is that a problem?
Not at all, we have our own piano transportation team that collect and deliver pianos nationwide and internationally.
How long will it take to get a valuation?
Our piano purchasing team meet once a week to go through submissions of pianos for sale. Following their meeting, they respond to you via email whether we are interested in purchasing, or not.
The form won’t let me upload JPEG photos, what do I do?
If the file sizes are too large, sometimes the form will not upload them. If this happens you can email the images to [email protected] instead.
Do you buy all piano brands?
We have an interest in all pianos, though our preferred brands are Steinway, Bosendorfer, Blüthner, Kemble, Steingraeber & Sohne, Yamaha and Kawai. So when you sell your piano, whatever brand it is, Coach House is keen to buy it.
