New Yamaha GC1 TA Transacoustic Baby Grand Piano
This new Yamaha GC1 TA Transacoustic Baby Grand Piano adds a new dimension to the GC1 model, using the soundboard as a loudspeaker and including 19 instrument voices. The RRP for this model is £25,224.
Available in a range of colours, this popular baby grand piano opens up a world of possibilities, allowing volume control as well as the option to play digital sounds while still enjoying the authentic piano action.
With a well-balanced, responsive touch and medium tone this Yamaha GC1 features the latest transacoustic technology, activated by pressing down the middle pedal.
This pedal moves a rail between the hammers and the strings, switching off the acoustic piano and turning on the transacoustic.
By engaging the middle pedal, a digital sample of the Yamaha CFX and Bӧsendorfer Imperial concert grand is transmitted via specially configured transducers, sending vibrations through the soundboard and bridges to reproduce the digital sound.
This digital sound can be listened to out loud or through headphones and you can adjust the volume and layer sounds on top of the acoustic piano to replicate a full orchestra.

Non-ground floor delivery
Delivery charges are applicable per flight of stairs/steps; the standard price is £100 + VAT (5-15 steps/stairs). Once your transaction is complete, you will be asked to provide photos of any stairs/steps or access that could potentially cause issues for the installation team. If a lift is available, information regarding dimensions of this would also be helpful for the piano installation team.
International delivery
