Coach House Pianos are delighted to announce exclusivity of the Alpange piano brand in the United Kingdom. Having recently visited the Alpange factory in Nantes, France, we felt inspired to create a purpose-designed studio here in the UK and showcase to our clients just how incredible the new Alpange range is. This piano is definitely the piano of a new era! Created by co-founders Raphaël Soudre and Franck Bacquet, the Alpange piano was made for both players and non-playing listeners alike. Designed to transform our lives through memorable musical experiences. Coach House Piano team members, Nick Rusling, Dan Rusling and Sam Rusling were privileged to meet with Alpange CEO Olivier Faujour, founders Raphael Soudre and Franck Bacquet to discuss the many benefits of the Alpange piano and how this instrument can enrich our lives in so many ways.
What Makes Alpange Unique?
Firstly, the modelling technology used in the Alpange piano range means that each sound is unique. This is unlike other digital pianos who use sampling technology. The difference between modelling and sampling is that in modelling, a set of processors calculate in real time the reaction of the physical components of the piano, the impact of the hammers, the movement and interaction of the strings, the resonance of the sound table and the vibration of the case. On the other hand, sampling corresponds to the restitution of sounds that have been previously recorded and each note is already ‘prefabricated.’ Alpange also allows you to connect to an unlimited source of musical inspiration and exclusive content, listen to your favourite pianists or singers and share your own compositions.
Mastery and Expertise
The Alpange piano range is 100% handcrafted in a purposed designed factory in the city of Nantes, France. The piano can play on its own thanks to the purpose designed Alpange app which offers a range of infinite sounds and allows you to connect with other Alpange pianos. You can connect to an unlimited source of musical inspiration and exclusive content, listen to your favourite pianists or singers and share your own compositions. The name Alpange is a contraction of the words ‘Alps’ and ‘Angel.’ The word ‘Alps’ is to pay tribute to the geographical location that was birthplace to the traditional piano and ‘Angel’ to symbolize that music transports our senses to better places.
