This particularly unusual Kemble Cameo upright piano is a distinctive instrument, reportedly built by the Kemble family for their own home. Presented in a hand-painted satin grey finish, its deliberately aged, gently worn appearance gives it a charming, individual character.
Standing just 102cm tall, the piano features a cleverly designed top lid that lifts in the style of a grand piano. Another unusual feature is its middle pedal, which engages a small brass mechanism to produce a distinctive honky-tonk playing effect.
The piano offers a medium tonal character, light touch and responsive keyboard action, making it suitable for beginner pianists.
A matching stool and lamp were also reportedly made by the Kemble family to complement the piano, adding to its distinctive story.
Cosmetically, the piano is in good overall condition, with a small scuff to the right-hand side. The gently distressed appearance of the painted cabinet is intentional rather than a result of general deterioration.
The piano has been cleaned and tuned.

Non-ground floor delivery
Delivery charges are applicable per flight of stairs/steps; the standard price is £100 + VAT (5-15 steps/stairs). Once your transaction is complete, you will be asked to provide photos of any stairs/steps or access that could potentially cause issues for the installation team. If a lift is available, information regarding dimensions of this would also be helpful for the piano installation team.
International delivery
