Professional care for your piano, beyond its standard warranty

Every piano supplied by Coach House Pianos is protected by an appropriate manufacturer’s or Coach House Pianos warranty. Our optional Aftercare Packages go further, covering many of the routine tuning, adjustment and maintenance needs that naturally arise once your piano is in its new home.

What does a standard piano warranty cover?

A piano warranty protects against genuine faults – rather than the routine maintenance and adjustments associated with owning an acoustic piano.

Covered by your warranty

Genuine defects in materials or workmanship
Manufacturing faults present at the time of supply
Restoration faults attributable to work carried out before supply
Other qualifying defects covered within the applicable manufacturer’s or Coach House Pianos warranty

Not covered by your warranty

Piano tuning following delivery
Pitch correction or pitch raising
Tuning changes caused by temperature or humidity
Sticking or sluggish notes arising through normal environmental change
Minor action or pedal adjustments
Squeaks, clicks, buzzes or similar noises arising through normal use or settlement
Regulation and voicing required through use
General wear and tear
Routine servicing and maintenance

Aftercare designed for real piano ownership

A piano is a precision acoustic instrument and naturally responds to its surroundings. Changes in temperature, humidity and use can affect its tuning, action and other components - particularly as the instrument settles into a new home.

Our Aftercare Packages provide an easy way to look after these everyday requirements beyond the protection of your standard warranty.

With three levels of cover available, you can choose the support that suits your piano and how it is used. Depending on your package, this can include routine tuning and assistance with many of the common adjustments that may otherwise require a separate chargeable technician visit.

The result is simple: professional care when your piano needs it, greater certainty over ongoing costs and the peace of mind of knowing your instrument is properly looked after.
