This remarkable Schreiner & Söhne 148 ‘Bronze’ Grand Piano – c2021 combines an acoustic instrument with a completely bespoke furniture finish. Created in collaboration with Anka Bespoke, the piano features an antique bronze exterior with dramatic polished cracked bronze detailing beneath the lid. The finish transforms every surface of the instrument, including the cabinet, legs, music desk and lid. Rich variations of bronze create a depth and movement across the casework, while darker areas introduce an intentionally aged and individual character. The polished cracked detailing beneath the lid provides a striking contrast when the lid is open.
