Yamaha C1 Grand Piano – C2007

This Yamaha C1 grand piano dates from around 2007 and comes in the highly popular polished black cabinet. At 161cm in length, the C1 offers compact grand proportions while retaining a broad and satisfying tonal range. Its light, even touch and lively musical character make it particularly enjoyable for regular playing at home.

Our technicians have completed a thorough programme of preparation in our dedicated workshop. They have fully cleaned the piano throughout and carefully serviced the keyboard. The action has also received a full service, including careful reshaping of the hammers.

A complete regulation has refined the keyboard and action, resulting in a light and even touch across the full compass. This consistency gives the pianist good control over dynamics and articulation, making it easier to shape phrasing and explore the piano’s tonal range.

Acoustically, this Yamaha C1 has a singing, even tone across the registers. The treble has an attractive sparkle and clarity, while the bass has plenty of punch and definition. Together, these qualities give the piano a versatile voice with enough tonal contrast for both expressive playing and more rhythmically demanding repertoire.

Cosmetically, the brasswork has been fully polished, while the polished black casework has been carefully buffed and polished. This completes the workshop preparation and gives the piano a smart, well-finished appearance.

For pianists looking for a compact Yamaha grand piano with a light, even action and a clear, lively voice, this C1 offers a rewarding combination of manageable size, tonal variety and precise control. To preserve the piano’s pristine finish, a protective film has been applied to selected areas of the piano to maintain its condition until delivery.
