This Steinway & Sons Model M grand piano was built in Hamburg, Germany, in 2003 and comes in the classic polished black cabinet. At 5’7” in length, the Model M is an ideal balance of musical performance and practical size. It suits domestic settings beautifully while still delivering the tonal presence and refinement expected from a Hamburg Steinway.

Steinway designed the Model M to provide much of the musical character of a larger grand piano within a more manageable footprint. Its proportions feel balanced both visually and acoustically, making it particularly well-suited for living rooms, music spaces, and smaller recital environments.

The previous owner kept this piano in a private home and cared for it exceptionally well throughout its life. Our workshop team has also carefully inspected and regulated the piano to ensure consistent performance and reliability.

Tonally, the piano produces a warm, balanced sound with excellent control and clarity across all registers. The bass feels rich and supportive, while the treble retains sweetness and definition. The action responds evenly and precisely, giving the player excellent control and confidence across a wide range of repertoire.
